Trinity Prep

Deluxe Surfacing, an ATC Company, completed a comprehensive rehabilitation of Trinity Prep’s outdoor athletic facilities, delivering long-term performance improvements to both the campus running track and tennis courts. The project was designed to restore surface integrity, enhance athlete safety, and extend the usable life of these heavily utilized facilities while meeting the expectations of a premier private school athletic program.

Work on the 8-lane running track began with thorough surface preparation to address wear from years of training, competition, and exposure to Florida’s heat, UV, and seasonal weather conditions. Following preparation, a new 5mm polyurethane cap system was installed across the full track surface, creating a uniform, resilient running platform that improves energy return, traction, and overall athlete comfort. The upgraded cap also enhances durability and resistance to cracking, oxidation, and moisture intrusion. Once the resurfacing was complete, the track was professionally relined, restoring precise lane dimensions and event markings to ensure accuracy, visibility, and compliance with competitive standards.

The tennis courts received an equally detailed scope of work focused on both structural repair and playability. Existing cracks were systematically treated using the Rite-Way crack repair system, a flexible repair method designed to address underlying movement and significantly reduce the likelihood of reflective cracking returning through the finished surface. After crack remediation, the courts were resurfaced with a Plexipave system, providing a consistent, high-performance acrylic surface known for reliable ball response, excellent traction, and long-term color stability. The finished courts offer a clean, professional appearance while supporting daily practices, match play, and tournament-level use.

Upon completion, Trinity Prep’s athletic facilities were fully revitalized, delivering modernized surfaces that balance performance, safety, and durability. The project reflects Deluxe Surfacing’s attention to detail, use of proven materials, and commitment to professional-grade installation—ensuring that Trinity Prep’s student-athletes benefit from high-quality facilities built to perform for years to come.
