Cardinal O’Hara High School

The running track at Cardinal O’Hara High School recently underwent a comprehensive resurfacing, renewing a facility that had originally been installed by Deluxe Surfacing ten years earlier. After a decade of consistent use by student-athletes, the track required a professional lifecycle renewal to restore performance characteristics, safety, and overall appearance while preserving the integrity of the original system.

Deluxe Surfacing, an ATC company, completed the resurfacing work, bringing firsthand knowledge of the original installation and a deep understanding of the track’s construction and performance requirements. The existing surface was carefully evaluated and prepared to ensure proper adhesion and long-term durability. A Stockmeier SC spray-applied surface system was then applied, delivering a uniform texture, consistent traction, and renewed resilience across the entire track.

The completed project returned the facility to competition-ready condition, enhancing both athlete experience and overall aesthetics. The renewed surface provides dependable force reduction, weather resistance, and durability, ensuring the track will continue to support training and competition for years to come. The refreshed finish also reinforces school pride while meeting the expectations of a high-performance scholastic athletic facility.
